NYSUM MISSIONS TRIP DETAILS |

RED is partnering with the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM) for a missions trip opportunity for our students!

What is NYSUM?

Founded in 1984, in the past 37 years the New York School of Urban Ministry (NYSUM) has hosted, trained and deployed over 150,000 youth and adults for urban ministry by partnering with inner city pastors, churches and ministries in New York City. Groups learn about inner-city ministry through cross-cultural, “hands-on” urban ministry to the NYC community. Outreaches take place via street meetings, soup kitchens, kids programs, city shelters and more. Learn more about NYSUM by visiting their website.

When is the trip and how much does it cost?

The RED team is heading to NYC Friday, November 15th and returning home on Sunday, November 17th.

The trip costs $500 which includes all food, travel costs, and accommodations for each student. A $200 deposit is due after the application has been approved, with the remaining amount due closer to the trip.

Where will we be staying?

Stationed as a training & resource center, NYSUM’s training facility is located in the heart of Astoria, Queens where NYSUM provides accommodations and home-style meals for the teams. Below is the address of the facility:
