FALL RETREAT FAQs

What should I pack?

  • Clothes for 1 night and an outfit for the next day (Saturday)

  • Athletic clothing for outdoor activities (maybe include some shoes you don’t mind getting dirty)

  • Layers so you can bundle up!

  • Toothbrush, toothpaste, deodorant, face wash, dry shampoo (no showers!)

  • Bedding/pillow

  • Bible

  • Journal and pen

  • Water bottle

Are there showers?

There are NO SHOWERS, so come showered on Friday and plan accordingly!

What is the lodging situation?

It will look very similar to Impact with girls in one section together and guys in another, so remember to pack bedding! Please only bring a twin size air mattress.

are phones allowed?

Yes, students are allowed to bring phones, but we will highly encourage students to keep them turned off throughout the weekend so they aren’t a distraction. If you need to contact your student in case of emergency, please reach out to Pastor Caleb at 412-426-0961 or Jess Sierra at 412-292-2104.

WHAT ABOUT MEDICATION?

We will collect all meds at APC and safely transport them to Summit where a nurse will distribute them to students.

What if I can’t be there by the departure time on Friday?

Students who are unable to make the 4:30pm departure time on Friday are more than welcome to drive to Summit themselves or have a parent take them. Please reach out to Jess Sierra at jessicas@allisonparkchurh.com to coordinate this!
